I’m Suju, a tattoo artist based in London UK.
My creative practice is driven by intuition, curiosity, and a desire to create. It always evolving. I am inspired by the nature, traditional Chinese art, my imagination, and popular motifs in tattoo culture amongst many other visual influences.
I am self-taught. I began learning to tattoo in 2019 and since then have steadily become more committed to the practice. Throughout my tattooing journey I have found a lot of joy and fulfillment in the craft, as well as finding a renewed sense of purpose to my art in the process.
I work with the understanding of tattooing as an ancient practice that for many indigenous cultures functions as a means of telling stories of culture and identity. With this in mind, I am grateful to each and every individual I work with for trusting me with their body and allowing me to bring a vision into reality.
